My name is Katie, and I’m a born-and-raised Drumheller local. I’m excited to be back home after spending eight years in Edmonton, where I completed nursing school and began my career in healthcare.

Throughout my nursing career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings such as hospice, long-term care, corrections, homeless shelters, and home care. These experiences have allowed me to care for people from all walks of life and have shaped the kind of nurse I strive to be.

When I’m not at the clinic, you’ll find me spending time with my husband and our son, going for walks around our neighbourhood, cheering on my favourite sports teams (Go Pack Go! and Let’s Go Oilers!), or out helping on the farm.

I’m incredibly excited to begin this new chapter with the team at Riverside Medical, and I look forward to getting to know our patients and reconnecting with the community I’m proud to call home.
