Understanding
About ADHD
ADHD affects your brain’s ability to control attention, leading to difficulties with focus (inattention), restlessness (hyperactivity), and acting without thinking (impulsivity). It can manifest as being easily distracted, disorganized, poor time management, interrupting others, fidgeting, or struggling to complete tasks, impacting school, work, and relationships, but also allows for hyperfocus on enjoyable activities. Symptoms can change with age but persist, causing significant life disruption.
